RV Mobile Repair Technician

Salary Range: $26.50 - $31.50 per hour, commensurate with experience

RV2GO is seeking a motivated and versatile full-time RV Repair Technician who is interested in growing within their role. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong mechanical, electrical, or engineering background who excels at problem-solving and is able to work with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading a variety of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, propane, chassis, and appliances. Prior experience is a plus, but not required. Additional on site and formal training is provided with commensurate increase in pay for certifications achieved.
Diagnose and Repair: Inspect, diagnose, and repair issues across various RV systems, including 12V/120V electrical, plumbing (fresh water and LP gas), HVAC, appliances, and structural components.
System Upgrades & Installations: Install new accessories and perform upgrades such as solar panel integration, offgrid electric systems, awnings, hitches, and interior components.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, appliance checks, roof inspections, and general upkeep. We do not typically service engines or chassis components.
Documentation and Communication: Clearly communicate job status, repair needs, and maintenance advice to manager and customers. Maintain accurate records of all parts used and work performed.
Quality Control: Test all repaired and upgraded systems to ensure proper functionality and safety before unit return to the customer.
Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and operate the company vehicle responsibly.
Proven mechanical or engineering background is highly desirable.
Carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills are highly desirable.
Customer service skills are a plus.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.
A clean driving record is required, as some mobile service work may be involved.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and repair techniques.
Detail-oriented approach to all tasks, with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical dexterity and the ability to work in compact spaces as needed.
The ability to work on ladders and elevated surfaces 13 ft or less above the ground.
The ability to lift 100 lbs on occasion.
Hourly wage of $26.50 - $31.50, based on experience.
Training and test fees covered for remote learning for RVTI certifications.
Set pay schedule for certifications with the ability for further compensation based on performance.
A flexible schedule depending on business needs.
